Duncan Howorth
Chairman
Duncan took over as Managing Director of JLT Benefit Solutions Ltd in late 2005,
and has focused on driving a consistent culture across all of JLT Benefit Solutions
Limited's businesses - including Premier Pension Services - and has made excellent
client service a priority. As well as being the chairman of Premier Pension Services
he is also a director of JLT UK Investment Holdings Limited, and a director of seven
of its subsidiaries including JLT Benefit Solutions Limited. Duncan is responsible
for JLT Benefit Solutions Limited's corporate development and marketing, the development
of new products and services, acquisitions, brand development and awareness, media
and communications.
Career History
Prior to joining Jardine Lloyd Thompson, Duncan was Chairman of Abbey National Benefit
Consultants Limited and was responsible for founding the company. He was also responsible
for developing James Hay's market proposition. Previously, he worked for six years
with Antony Gibbs, becoming a main board director with responsibility for their
major clients. Duncan has spent periods with insurance companies, employee benefit
consultants and as pensions manager of a large industrial organisation where he
experienced the value of effective benefits communication.
